Kaveeta is the sister of director/actress Sangeets. She is from a family who have contributed a great deal to Pakistani Cinema. Her real name is Nasreen Rizvi.
Some of her best films include Kabhi Kabhi (1978), Qasam (1993), Society Girl (1976) and Thodi Si Bewafai. Her earliest appearance was in the film Do Badan.
